Dr. Kirstin
Correia, ND
Dr. Correia felt drawn to naturopathic medical school after founding a nutritional consulting business in upstate New York and realizing her clients needed a better, more comprehensive approach to health care. She moved to Arizona with her son and husband and graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medical School in 2011. She enjoys a focus on pediatric care, women’s hormone care, chronic disease management and her first love, homeopathy. Dr. Correia deeply believes that naturopathic medicine at its core is a lifestyle of building health and choosing joy at every chance.
In 2020 Dr. Correia moved to Flagstaff, her soul’s home. She grew up near the Adirondack’s in New York State and dearly loved coming home to the mountains. In 2023 she added another joy filled passion to her life and began a not-for-profit called Joyful Pastures - a home for retired equines. She happily resides with 3 horses, 5 chickens, 2 barn cats, 2 dogs and a husband in beautiful northeast Flagstaff. Chasing joy for Dr. Correia means helping both critters and humans and she is blessed to be part of the Mountain Medicine team.
